WTF? This is good stuff.

There is a lot of subtle humor beneath the surface. Unicow's expressions just about make me wet my pants. I'm up to episode 7 - it grows on you.

I like how he didn't even try to appear to not be lip syncing.

Re: Grandma 2G1C reaction videos: lol, I saw Joe Rogan's ages ago but I didn't know about the fad. Who would foist this crap on their grannies? Real high class. (I like the ones who are nonplussed more than the grossed out ones!)

Shades of "A Boy Named Sue"!

All tattoos are an affront to all decent, right-thinking people.

(I think I'm the only one left.)

Lame front page trifecta in play.

WTF is actually being accomplished? Waving hands around to move things on a giant screen is teh ghey. I think the obvious purpose of this is to get clueless rich investors to fork over large wads of cash.

I dunno, I read it before telling NoScript to let it play, and aside from the voice I was disappointed in the reading. He should have played up the misspellings and run-on sentences better, and cracking up during it was a minus for me.

But it was interesting and fun, so it's all good. And this no-mind deserved being broken up with!

"... lots of people could get wrapped up in things that they knew deep down weren't real."

Amen.

They need to define cliche for the submitters.

I want to build one, if only to see how much closer to falling over I can get it!

I told you guys there was nothing important left for the internet to do after the More Cowbell generator.

"Cruel Conditions for Mentally Ill:
Pictures of some of the worst conditions of treatment centers for people with mental illness. Number 7 made me LOL."

Yeah, sounds like a laff riot.

It was interesting, if not fun. (Perhaps the site's subtitle should read "interesting and/or fun links"?)

Glad Trodix had enough free time left over to be sarcastic.

Mmm-member? When this guy? Set up all these dominoes and sticks and stuff? And then he knocked 'em down? That was awesome.

Fun. But the damn interface isn't keeping track correctly of which levels I've solved, now it's telling me I never solved most of the first page of them, and ones I've never solved but simply looked at others' solutions are showing as solved.

You get what you pay for?

Gramma is a stickler for grammar?

Sep 24th, 2008

Way too cool. With this site, the vast potential of the Internet has been fully realized; now we can all find something else to do with our time.

The player they use won't let you go full screen... To see the episode in a larger window at least, use http://tallyhall.com/media.php .

In SiaSL?

Either way, self-important essays could be said to be conventional?

You lost me. Maybe it's just been too long since I read it.

Re: editors - cite, please?

Sep 12th, 2008

Yeah, he's not for anyone averse to unconventional thinking.

... I loved everything he ever wrote, myself.

The one revolution per year thing is kinda cool, but the guy should have done a front on face shot every day too.

I await his higher res, dejittered version.

Any younguns starting a similar project: use a frickin' laser beam to help you line up perfectly!

Would have been funnier if I hadn't read in the news today that they had taken the LHC offline due to some glitch...

That last tone (10 kHz) is beyond my cheap upstairs computer's speaker system's ability to play. Even my 6 year old daughter couldn't hear anything.

I was afraid we was goin' deef until I tried it on my downstairs computer's good speaker system.

Yikes. Needs a Squash button, invoking a giant Pythonesque foot.

I got an 18 with only 5 minutes effort, I was determined not to waste a lot of time on it.

Aug 27th, 2008

We actually bought one (yay eBay, don't worry, it's new!), I will let y'all know how it comes out, er, that is, what happens after it comes out. Gotta get it installed first...

Better to comment late than never?

Sep 3rd, 2008

I'm more impressed by the first one...

I don't think the CPU vs GPU analogy is entirely valid, no processing is taking place on the second one.

Aug 30th, 2008

Ah, it's front paged now, deservedly no matter who had submitted it.

Aug 30th, 2008

Veddy interesting.

(Brad posted it, but it's not (currently) front paged?)

Aug 29th, 2008

Loved it!

Hope the sequel includes Barbies!

Aug 27th, 2008

A better solution is the Toto Washlet. cleanishappy.com

Aug 24th, 2008

You assume right.

It's two minutes of one joke, but it's worth it just for "when I'm alone I **** myself"!

Mad was funny before I discovered National Lampoon.

Some people still like Mad, though - I bought a stack of early 60's issues at a live auction for $15 and sold them one by one on eBay for a total of $750!

I got through all 30 levels the first try, score was 29000 something, and I had like 8 extra lives left. Patience is key, but it was getting boring. I think it should be a race against a timer, would've forced me to be more aggressive.
