"The following is a general guideline to the candidates' positions on some of the top issues. Some of the issues are more complex and usually require more than a 'yes/no' or 'support/oppose' position. Please visit the official campaign site of the candidate in question for more details about each issue."

HaidaBucks Cafe
HaidaBucks, a small restaurant/cafe in a tiny village on a remote island in NW British Columbia, is being sued by Starbucks for trademark infringement. After an exchange of letters (Starbucks saying, "Change your name!" and HaidaBucks saying, "Never!") Starbucks, in an effort to stem the tide of negative publicity, prematurely sent a letter of congratulations to HaidaBucks on changing their logo, name and signage. T-shirts and mugs now available!

Papa Smurf is a Communist
I like most of my generation grew up watching the Smurfs. I loved them so much that I tuned in every Saturday mourning to see what crazy hy-jinx those lovable little blue creatures would get up to. It is just now that I have realized what I was really tuning into each and every Saturday morning was in actuality Communist Propaganda!!
