In response to jBot's post, the fact that DuChamp's "Fountain" (essentially, a sideways urinal with a pseudonym scrawled on the side) was voted the most influential work of art of the 20th Century, I think we can allow for an E-Z-Hack version of "Pong" to be considered art.
Mind you, it's not necessarily GOOD art, but that doesn't stop it from being art.
I have very specific ideals on what I consider art to be, but I'm not going to get into that because I like you all so much and don't want to be that guy
It's pretty damn cool, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it "art."
The art-talk is pretty lame -- calling pong algorithms artificial intelligence is an insult to AIs everywhere.
But it's neat.
I've seen interesting AI in a pong game, just calculates where the ball is going to end up based on velocity... can't beat that shit.

jBot only likes furry art where the last panel is cats going o_o .
Well, a picture of Leo is still better than a pink... fluffy...
What the hell is that thing in your avatar, anyway?
And this is more like something you'd see at an interactive exhibit in a science museum (oh, how those are fun) more than in an art museum.
He's clearly going =OuO=. Srsly.
And here I thought good ol' in4mador would spare the fursecution.
My people will rise
we'll see how you like your fur when you are being advanced on with flaming torches!
bwa ha ha, etc
I made the ball and the right paddle move out of the play area, go through the code and drop off the bottom of the window.
I was proud.
