The Greatest Long Tracking Shots in Cinema
"In a director’s cinematic bag of tricks the long tracking shot is the boldest way of making a statement. It’s the flashiest and most attention-grabbing egotistical way of flexing one’s muscle."

Children of Men was a great movie, glad to see it on there. It should have gotten the Best Picture instead of the Departed, although the Departed was good too.
While reading the entry on In4mador, I was worried that they wouldn't include the shot from Touch of Evil (on of my favorite films). Imagine my surprise to see it as the first mentioned!
In my opinion, the tracking shot at the end of Children of Men in the refugee camp was far more impressive than the one he featured.
I agree. It left me breathless. I think it had to do something with spoilers and finding it on youtube.
