Test your senses A series of sense questions and optical illusions with explanations of why they're so hard. posted to misc -> misc by theawahaid, Aug 5th, 2004
8/20, a lot of the questions had nothing to do with testing my senses. What do I THINK would taste better? I don't have a freakin' clue, how 'bout you give me three plates of food and I'll tell you which tastes better!
As Kajun said, many of them seemed to be more like trivia questions than questions to test your senses. What part of your brain stores information about smells? How the heck should I know?
13/20
I liked the random questions. I dont know how but I knew Pineapples and Soy Sauce were a good combination. It just seems so right. And cavier and White chocolate? Who was the genius who invented that?
Plus, the optical illusions were harder then most I've seen. You know the ones were they say "which line is bigger?" and they're always the same length, no matter what.
Pot luck at my house tonight. Everyone bring a main entree, two sides, a salad, soup, a bottle of wine, dishes, cups, silverware, easy listening music, a stereo system, a couch and dinette set, and a dessert.
I used my trivia knowledge of optical illusions to score well on them. But that's only because I've seen most of these illusions before and I know there's a deception going on. If I truly responded to each question as my senses dictated, then naturally my score would have been much lower.
17/20 on my first try.
Dammit! This is so hard!
Can you guys help me out: do I have sound on my computer?

13/20. I knew pineapple and soy sauce because my mom makes kick-ass ribs with that.
19/20 on my second try.
Questions 2-3 I got exactly correct:

Now I know why I don't like parmesan cheese.
Now I know why I love vomit on my pasgetti.
Now I know why we never have dinner together.

What about the entrays? You cant have a pot luck without entrays.
apparantly i have several non-functioning senses ... :(
In all fairness some of the questions towards the end are more like trivia than actually testing your senses.
Trivia is for senseless people anyway.
