I dont remember this show. The one I remember was a little more true to the game (and by that, I mean no "Pastaland") The only episode i remember is one where luigi and yoshi eat all this fried food that Koopa (or bowser, i forget) makes, turning them into chickens.
wow I had totally forgotten about this show. yeah! This is HORRIBLE but awesomely horrible. Adn the theme song has gotta rank up there as one of the best ever.
Yeah, the Sonic cartoon was pretty cool. This Mario one... not so cool. I liked that when I was a kid? Bleh. I only vaguely remember an episode where Mario eats some special dish that makes him godzilla sized.
This just goes to prove that American culture is and will always be shit. I don't remember this show, but I didn't grow up with a TV. I feel like I didn't miss anything.
My favorite part was when Link killed a gaurd and said, "Whoa, loot!" as if it is a normal occurace for weapons and money to magically appear when you kill someone.
I LOVED the Super Mario Super Show as a kid. I remember as the new games came out, the show changed to reflect the games. It was all a marketing gimmick, but I didn't care because I had the games before they changed the show anyway.
I actually remember the last season where they incorporated Mario World themes.
I still enjoy the art style of the show. I think it was actually good. They basically took the cartoon renders from the box art and animated it. Brought more life to the shows.
I remember Captain N as well, but not really getting it because most of the characters were kinda obscure, to me.
I didn't get to Sonic until later and I recognized Urkel as the voice.
And everyone's gotta admit, that show was better (writing and acting) than the movie.
Mortal Kombat was a better movie than Mario Brothers.
And who can forget Fred Savage as the video game prodigy? I swear, Nintendo was looking for a license to print money with that one.
I used to play the sonic underground show in the playground around about 6 years old.. damn.. i'd never even seen it... thundercats, he-man, teenage mutant hero turtles, biker mice from mars, sharky and george, transformers.... even this travesty of a show... but no sonic underground.. what the hell happened? was sonic involved in maintenance works in the sewers of toyoko?
Do the mario! dun dun dun dah
no I quite clearly remember it being this bad. Awesomely bad.
This is pretty cool, I've never seen this site before, it has the old legend of zelda ones!
Now if only some site would have old freakazoid episodes.

Anyone remember the Sonic the Hedgehog show?
I remember the Sonic cartoon. And also the Pac Man one. Because I am old.
I loved this show... damn.. i was so young and stupid then... the sonic one used to be pretty good as well...

And... there was a Pac-Man cartoon? Cool.

Fun fact: The voice of Sonic from the good cartoon (with Sally, Rotor, Antoine, and Bunny) was none other than Urkel.
Info on Pac-Man the cartoon. I also used to eat the cereal.
Link's voice-acting just kills me in the Zelda cartoon.
"Well excuuuuse me, Princess!"

Heh, yeah, I remember the Zelda cartoons. They rocked.
One thing I never got though- he's got an awesome sword, but never uses it to CUT things. Just shoots zap bolts from it.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had the worst issues. All those blades and they never cut anyone.
