Those remind me of the old ZX Spectrum classics like "Kamikaze Headbanger Train Attack" or perhaps "Advanced Car Wash Simulator".

Or maybe even "Frank Sidebottom's Amoeba Rescue".

I believe Pillar Killer is my favorite. And the save Planet Earth One is actually kinda fun.
