Seems it'd be more fun to use on people you don't like. Set it to call them all day every day...
Boy, won't they feel popular!
The first guy sounds like a stoner.
I am gonna try it this weekend. I'll let you know how good it goes.
Not that we'd need much proof or anything, but I am pretty sure that was your way of admitting to being a social loser? :)
Um, you'd have to at least be around people for anyone to be impressed by your cell phone ringing, I would think...
And there is a limit of 5 calls per number, so Schatt's idea is a no-go...
I had it call my wife with the Affirmation call while I sat at the computer watching her, it was pretty funny!
I called my YFM professor in the middle of class with the Affirmation call... He talked to it for a second. Then started laughing and blamed some guy that was in his last class.
And my friend mike carried on an entire conversation with Mr. Popularity before he realized it was just a recording.
i had it call my friend with the female voice, and he said it invited him to go get a burrito downtown or something like that. very friendly, but i think they need an insulting or angry recording so you can act like you are arguing with someone over the phone, or confuse the hell out of unknowing people.
I've perfected the use of the cell phone as exit strategy. If I'm planning ahead, I set the alarm on the cell phone to go off. My alarm tone is the same as the ring tone, then all I have to do is "answer" it, excuse myself to have a fake conversation, then come back and say I have to go.
In crisis situations, where I suddenly need to extricate myself from an awkward situation, I do the same pantomime, except I pretend my phone was on vibrate. The key is to do the "check the caller ID" motion before you "answer" the phone. You also have to be positioned so nobody can see what's on the screen except you.
What do you plan to do if you set the alarm, and go to "answer" it, but then someone ACTUALLY calls you?
It called me when I was in a car and no one was paying attention. Uneventful. :(
