Paul Smith - The Father of ASCII art
Paul Smith, born in 1921, probably is one of the first to use ASCII characters to draw and paint artworks. Despite of his spastic cerebral palsy, he developed a very unique skill, using such “@ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ .” characters to create masterpieces, shown below. Through the years, he even developed techniques to create shadings, colors, and textures that made his work resemble pencil or charcoal drawings.

Not to belittle it, but if it's typed on a typewriter, it's nothing to do with ASCII.
I guess not.
Yeah, and there were definitely no penises or maps of Doom levels.
And that concludes my report entitled "Family Trip to Yawnsville."
Wow, he did a pretty good job though? Im sure he used a pencil though. The stupid spastic.
