Make sure you click the screen every time it says "special", and sometimes you can click the screen when the guy (the ball) is visible in the air, above people and you'll get a teleport boost. The chick on the bike pops into the air and slaps your ass around some more.

I got a "Cosmic Force Field" which gives you a boost whenever you hit the ground. Apparently under the right conditions, that "through and run" girl actually helps you out.
