There's a few translations that might make this funnier to the non-Brit. 'Orange' is a service provider, the 'black spots' are places where service is unavailable. A 'dongle' is a thumb-drive or wifi connector.

I object to Orange being called a service provider. That would imply they provided a service.

Okay, that makes more sense.. I had no idea where they were going when they brought out the orange

Maybe it's also a reference to The Godfather.
