Mario - Live "Golden Goose - A yearly talent show held at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts. This video is a "live" performance of a level from the game, Super Mario Brothers. " posted to gaming -> gaming by Brad, Apr 26th, 2006
It was a promising idea. The props were done well, but everything else seemed to kinda fall apart. The sound got off track, the shadow actors kept messing up.
It looked like it could have been done really well, but I would guess that a lot of people didn't come to rehearsals.
Yeah it was bad and I blame them for not practicing more. The crowd should also be shot for thinking it was good when it wasn't. Great idea! Horrible execution!
jeeeesus, u lot, it was a SCHOOL play, stop giving ur psuedo-intelligent critical review of everything thats on here. u dont work for the independant on sunday! if someone had had the bright idea to do when you were at school, u would have thought it kicked ass. ur just pissed because u didnt think of it first.
wow. Who pee'd in your cornflakes? And the correct spelling is 'you' and 'you're' or 'you are'.
If you wish to speak about school, perhaps you should .. no. I won't get into it.
If you were noticing the past hundred or so posts that In4mador has up in this site, you'll see that this is what we do; we critique the site and its work. Regardless of whether it was good -or- bad.
Perhaps you should lay off and let us do what we do best. Nit-pick.
I find it insulting to say that yearly college shows are JUST school plays. School plays are for elementary and high school students. College talent shows are where drunk frat boys show off the fact that they too can be artsy and come up with something well done.
This was really not so great.
I'd rather watch this.
Sounds like it's just a soundboard.

It was a good idea and it all could have worked well if it hadn't been so long and if they had worked together with the sounds.
I'd like to see them try Tetris next time.
like this
Can't fault them for the sound. It was a school talent show. I blame the school, not their preparation.
On the sound, though, it should have featured those two kids on the xylophone.
It was a marimba.

I think some of the hilarity lies in the bad acting and little mistakes.

...and I did think of this first, except with Zelda. I was gonna smach dollar-store vases filled with loose change.

These people failed miserably.
Everyone remember Mega 64?
Their Tetris video was my favorite.
I don't know. I liked it. Except for the whole "why isn't the star giving me my invincibility like it should, dammit" thing, but still.
I liked it just fine. Didn't realize it would create such a critical uprising.
If Brad approves then so do I.
Here, here!
I apologize for expecting too much from it.
