Yeah, but we didn't stick our fingers in their asses.
My theory about the Japanese is that the reason they're so messed up is that they're going through a kind of country-wide post-traumatic stress disorder. I'd be very interested to know if they were Kancho'ing before WWII.
Actually FDR was just looking for an excuse to blow people up. He was evil, and Hiroshima and Nagisaki were the worst acts America has ever done to Japan, at the very least. Think 9-11 was bad? Imagine watching all of New York disintegrate. The ones that die are the lucky ones.
Despite that, that's no excuse for Kancho-ing people.
9/11 was a terrorist attack; Hiroshima and Nagisaki were an immediate end to one of the worst wars in history. The death toll could've been a lot higher if we had to actually invade Japan.
How do you know Japan was on the "cusp of surrender"? I like how people pull facts out of their ass rather than listen to those who were actually involved.
How did we go from "Kancho'd" to "Truman warned Japan to surrender or face utter destruction. They refused. Truman wasn't bluffing." Jeez. If I wanted a history lesson I wouldn't sleep in history.
Terrorist attack, end to an awful war, BEGINNING of an awful war, Holocaust, jyhad, crusade, liberation, police action, mercy killing, fatal incident... why are there so many words for "exterminating a human life", and only one word for love?
Ugh, I can't believe I just wrote that.
Anyways, I'll take "kancho" over "kaboom" anytime. At least an uninvited finger up your ass doesn't require taxpayer money.
Did you forget Pearl, Planetroy. We did not start the war they did. They started it with the intent to wipe us off the map. They would have bomb us first if they had a chance. They also raped and murdered our POW's so I say they got their just rewards. And if you think I made any of this up why don't you check out the book store or the History chanel.
Actually, FDR asked Japan to bomb Pearl Harbor. They did as they were told because of the U.S.'s ability to Gaijin Smash. Then the U.S. used it as an excuse to go to war with Japan. So the U.S. kind of brought it on themselves.
Actually, the attack on Pearl Harbor was the result of FDR moving the entire Pacific Fleet over there WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF AN IMPENDING ATTACK, an action referred to as Action F by Commander McCullum and the president. By the way, "Action F" was one of EIGHT Actions taken by FDR, to goad Japan into attacking us. This was a fully concious attempt by our country's administration to get us into the war, despite a nearly 80% public opinion AGAINST our entry into it.

Oh, and for the record, I personally have worked on several documentaries, mostly for PBS, and I can say with a large degree of certainty from research that I myself have participated in, that The History Channel is incredibly innacurate about a great many things.
If the internet can be used to coordinate terrorist movements, deliver Nigerian bank account scams, and discuss Japanese ass-poking, I'm fairly certain we can also slip in a conversation or two about world history. Y'know... just to round things out a little... :P
What the hell? I unwittingly opted out of this conversation and didn't even know it was still going on, but now I do thanks to that one comment thingy on the right.
I don't even care anymore. What happened, happened. It wasn't right, but it's not worth throwing a hissy fit over. I was mistaken in my comment about FDR dropping the bomb, because he was dead, and the firebombs and other bombings were actually much worse than the nuclear, but other than that, I just don't fucking care anymore.
What I care about now is that this site made me "LOL". For the rest of us, I have this photo for you:
KANCHO'D!!
That was hilarious. Those kids need some counseling or something. I say put them all in a room and give them an enema.
The whole country of Japan needs counseling.
And they like enemas.
Jeez, guys, have an open mind. I mean, maybe they think dropping Atomic Bombs on countries is a little weird. Ever think of that?
Yeah, but we didn't stick our fingers in their asses.

FDR was kancho'd during a visit to Japan early in his presidency. Hence the declaration of war.
All I know is that I wish I was a black man in Japan. I'd be dancing on the razor's edge of Pedophilia and I wouldn't be happier.

1) We didn't have the A-Bomb when we entered the war.
2) Truman dropped them.
The firebombings of Tokyo actually caused more casualities as well.

I can't believe this degenerated into a pseudopolitical discussion.
Truman dropped the bombs, which were a devastating overreaction to Pearl Harbor, which happened FAR before the bombs themselves were dropped.
At the time of the decision to drop the bombs, Japan was finished in the war as a power. They were literally on the cusp of surrender.
How do you know Japan was on the "cusp of surrender"? I like how people pull facts out of their ass rather than listen to those who were actually involved.
Truman warned Japan to surrender or face utter destruction. They refused. Truman wasn't bluffing.

If people were trying to Kancho you all the time, you wouldn't sleep in history class, either.
See? It's all related.
Terrorist attack, end to an awful war, BEGINNING of an awful war, Holocaust, jyhad, crusade, liberation, police action, mercy killing, fatal incident... why are there so many words for "exterminating a human life", and only one word for love?

Then how do they fund the IRS?
I got news for ya... That ain't their finger.

When kanchoing is outlawed, only outlaws will be kanchoing.

Yeah, it really is a shame America ever entered WWII.
Everyone who keeps talking about politics deserves a 1000 PSI kancho.
MEGAKANCHO'D!!!!!
All killing is bad, and it's not really worth debating which deaths were worse or better.
In every case, when people are killed, it's the ones who are left that suffer most.
We just need to realize that it's wrong and never do it again.
ZmannZilla, Do you also believe that our Government has little green men locked away in Nevada. I think you watch to much conspiracy TV.
I think we're all forgetting the important lesson of screwing hot Japanese girls.
Thats right. I guess ZmannZilla does have some interesting points. I appologize.
I find myself agreeing with MikeyG more and more lately. More about the hot Japanese girls! Less about bombing short businessmen with a mommy complex.
If the internet can be used to coordinate terrorist movements, deliver Nigerian bank account scams, and discuss Japanese ass-poking, I'm fairly certain we can also slip in a conversation or two about world history. Y'know... just to round things out a little... :P
ZMannZilla:
Hot Japanese girls.
Yeah, this guy never thanked us for reading his stuff. It was really interesting, that's for sure.

Yeah seriously, why are we still posting in this thread?
dunno... it's fun though....
