Just a quick post to try and drum up some clicks for this, on the one hand I don't know why it only has six clicks so far (something against New Zealanders, or what?), but on the other hand it has three "good" votes in those six clicks, an extremely high ratio and a sure sign that it's worth a look!
These guys are very funny and even have their own HBO show now... I just thought this was their best song, but if you're like me you'll want to view the rest of their videos after seeing this one.
Yeah, from what I saw on YT, the Humans are Dead was not done justice on HBO, just them in corny robot costumes doing a portion of the song badly. It gave me the impression they were pissed that the producers made them do it. I haven't seen much else from the show, all I know is they are hilarious live... Gotta get the DVD when it comes out in November!
Didn't know about Eagle vs. Shark, found the trailer you know where. Thanks! I like quirky comedies, I look forward to seeing it...
Also, I just heard THAD aka Robots on Sirius Satellite again (which is where I first learned of these chaps) and I recognize it as the same recording as in the video I originally posted above, so I'm not the only one that likes this version!

Except I saw the clip from the show on YouTube as well, and I think the live version is far superior.
There are much better songs from this show. The Bowie episod eis one of the best things ever.

Turns out the song is actually called "Robots" on their EP - the presumptive name it got more than once on YouTube must be too politically incorrect!
Now that I've clicked it, I'll say I like the HBO version better. I hope they bring back the show, it was the best series they had on this year.
