Dead At Your Age "Congratulations! You've just outlived some interesting people. Tell us your date of birth, and we'll tell you who they were." posted to history -> death, celebrity by Brad, Mar 23rd, 2009
What I don't get is this ad for their newsletter:
In 33 days, when you reach 19 years and 144 days of age, your lifespan will surpass that of a French heroine who was burned at the stake by the English in 1431 and canonized in 1920.
I know who it is. I'm not going to subscribe just to find out who.
i'm too spritely and youthful to have outlived many people.
i'm exactly half the age of 'a Holy Roman Emperor (1765-90) who tried to abolish serfdom and the death penalty who died at the age of 48 years, 344 days.'
i hadn't heard of any of the people i've outlived but one of them was a warhol superstar who has an unfortunately comical death description:
Not much. Ah, well, SUCK IT SECRETARIAT.
Interesting options, although it should link to the wikipedia pages.
The only cool person I survived was a child actor who got stabbed.
Oh, and another child actor who overdosed on PCP.
Nick Drake. Nick Drake! Waaaaaah!
I'm sad now.
And the Big Bopper!?!
I knew my birthday was a bad one. I'm gonna die young now. I can feel it.
Well, maybe the birthdays aren't the jinxed part.....hmmmm
I out lived a Playboy Model who was glamorously shot in the face, proof that being ugly will prolong your life, so that more people may snicker at you
pretty nifty.. but yeah.. wiki links would elevate it to greatness
"You are 35 years and 263 days old today."
Well, at least I beat Jeffrey Dahmer and Yuri Gagarin.
The coolest was Richie valens, but the two most well known are the two Columbine shooters.
Marylin Monroe and Princess Diana, as well as some Nun and Joe Penner. Good mix of people I knew against people I have to google.
Haha Bujold you're almost the same age as me. The first thing it said was that I am exactly half the age of Joe Gans...
I got the same ones as Planettroy.

Ian Curtis by about 3 weeks, so that's kind of cool.
And the dude who killed Franz Ferdinand by about 2 months.
