I'm not sure if I understand this game at all...

This game makes me feel like an idiot. I don't know what the fuck I'm doing at all, even with the instructions.

Yeah I really don't understand this at all. But it's addictive.

I get the chains aspect, but why do grey circles sometimes turn into numbers?

It also seems like I do pretty good when I just make moves at random rather than thinking each one through.

Gray circles crack when a number "activates" itself next to one, and when they crack twice, they "reveal" the number "inside" it.
