Breathing Earth A Flash-based presentation that displays the carbon dioxide emission levels, as well as the birth and death rates of every country in the world, all in real-time. posted to reference -> reference by Schatten, Sep 13th, 2006
I believe that most C02 is ommitted by the rainforests, not major countries.
I hate the enviromentalist propaganda behind all this, and it wasn't great otherwise.
Actually, trees mostly use the O2 they create for necessary processes while still emitting some of it. Also, animals live on the trees in rainforests, and animals do emit CO2.
This discussion on tree emissions has been quite informative. This link has really provided a lot of thought about what we are doing to our planet and I guess what I can get out of it all, especially Exekyel's closing comment, is that we need to kill all the animals.
Of course I've been harboring that opinion for a while anyway. Who's with me?
A little piece of me died and emitted CO2 while I watched that.
Sheesh! I'm sure glad I don't live in India!
Interesting and informing. But will someone please make "Farting Earth"? Now THAT I would stare at for hours.

The one-liner emissions it credits us with aren't that flattering, either.
Trees emit oxygen, Planettroy.
Technically trees OMIT CO2 and EMIT O2
All I know is that the Chinese are sex machines.
word
I'm going to keep watching this until someone dies in Greenland.
So, for 20 hours then?
Actually, trees breathe in oxygen and emit carbon dioxide just like any animal. But they use CO2 for photosythesis and in that process emit oxygen.
And if I'm wrong, then my biology teacher should be locked up.

I'm with you. And so is Australia, who have already started on the stingrays.
But, humans are animals too. At least I am. Rawr.
A plan, then, with no drawbacks.
