Bookcrossing Register your books with this website, tag your books, and then set them free! People who find your books can then go to this website and comment on the experience. A nifty little idea. posted to books -> books by Nik, Jul 27th, 2002
What good are they doing, sitting on your shelf, gathering dust? Once they've been read, why hoard them? Why not share them with the world?
This revelation dawned on me when I one day looked at the shelves of books I'd read and realized I was never going to read them a second time, they weren't reference books I needed, and I may as well let them go -- I donated them to the Ottawa Public Library, where others could gain access to them.
Bookcrossing is another interesting way of letting your books be free.
But why would I want to loose my books?!
