The letters would be unnesessary bekause they would be replased by other letters. It's not a kwestion of removing letters.
How would you spell "chair," though?

I'm thinking he didn't really think the whole remove the letter "c" thing through.
Yeah, I'm sure they thought the confusing hard and soft sounds would be better represented by k and s, but ch throws a wrench in that idea.
