John Daker might want to take some notes on this.

This guy is to ventriloquists as The Joker is to clowns. I am consoled by the fact that it was filmed a quarter of a century ago and he's probably dead.

This is the greatest and best thing the internet has ever given me.

Mar 7th, 2010

YES. Combine this with the macaroni and cheese and bacon sandwich I had last night and the world is at peace.

In Soviet Russian oh ye ye ye ye ye la la la la.

Mar 7th, 2010

In Soviet Russia, voice sings you!

The page had loading issues for me, fount it on youtube

This is what you see right before you die

Mar 9th, 2010

The guy isn't dead.
He's still alive.

Mar 10th, 2010

Does anyone else think he sounds a bit like Mr. Bean?

Mar 11th, 2010

If he's lipsynching, who knows what he sounds like? He could talk like a mix between a dusty old vacuum and flaming bubblewrap.

Mar 11th, 2010

I think this is actually an audio-animatronic from the Russian version of Chuck E. Cheese's.

I suggest a game:

Get a YouTube auto-replay extension for Chrome or Firefox. Loop between 1:56 and 1:59...

I've listened for 15 minutes.

Mar 13th, 2010

I can easily go for an hour of that. The imperfect looping bothers me though.

Mar 14th, 2010

He's not alive, he died a year and a half ago:

Mar 14th, 2010

Ah ah ah. The man in question is named Edward Hill (or Eduard Khil). He is very much alive and can easily be found on Youtube talking about the 50-year-late response to his song. Muslim Magomayev also the sang this song.

Mar 14th, 2010

Well, to be fair, I never said he was dead, Ryx is just illiterate.

Mar 15th, 2010

Well, son of bitch do those two look alike. It doesn't help that Magomayev's picture on Wikipedia is small and seen in profile, but I'll admit I failed at facial recognition.
