They can't be serious.... I know its getting increasing difficult to think up horror films these days but this takes the piss.
Was it a load of students in media studies thinking of film ideas when one metions killer sheep as a joke.
The others in the class laugh it up and decide to send their idea to a film studio, again as a joke.
The studio takes it seriously, obviously down on money and stuggling to stay in business, and decide to make the film.
The guy in media studies makes a bit of money while trying to think up ways of hiding such a bad film on his CV.
The studio goes out of business and the film joins the bargin bin after a week at the cinema... similar to snakes on a plane.
You're missing the point, taking the piss is the whole point. The bad jokes, the ridiculous gore - but then I love films like Bad Taste, Braindead and The Evil Dead.
And after all, the guys that made those low budget classics went to to make Spiderman and LOTR.
"The Violence of the Lambs". Brilliant.

This may be even more serious than even I had at first been imagining.
You did notice that it said "WETA Workshop"? AKA Peter Jackson's effects company? AKA We started out doing Dead Alive?
Yeah, it's like a flashy Braindead (or DeadAlive for you North Americans) with sheep instead of zombies.
