Some great recipes, but I don't really see how it is "Cooking for Engineers"...

Well, it does seem to go more into "WHY" you're adding butter/egg whites, etc. than your average cookbook.

I guess that's the analytical part.

It's kinda like watching Alton Brown cook. He explains why sugar is adder or why salt helps and stuff. It's really great to understand the how's and why's of cooking.
